User Roles within the Firm

Attorney Share Supports two user roles to best fit your firm's existing structure and workflow around case sharing:

  • Attorneys: These users have an active bar license and a public-facing attorney profile in the Member Directory where they can connect with other attorneys. They can refer cases out through the Marketplace and Waterfall Referrals™ and acquire new cases from Waterfall Referrals™ or the Marketplace.
  • Case Managers: These users do not have an active bar license and are not visible in the Member Directory. They can, however, create cases and proposals on behalf of any of the attorneys in their firm. Case Managers can see all proposals/invites for attorneys in their firm, can take action on those cases in the My Cases tab (and will be automatically added to the case as a collaborator). Any other users on the platform who interact with them on a case will see 'Case Manager on behalf of Attorney.' Case Managers also have permissions to Firm Settings tab and can update preferences.

Step-by-step instruction on how to add a firm member can be found here!
