Clio Manage Integration Setup Guide
Getting Started
What You'll Need:
- Admin access to your Attorney Share account
- A Clio Manage account
- Signed cases that you, the buyer, already in Attorney Share with contact information (for automatic matching)
Part 1: Connecting Clio Manage to Attorney Share
Step 1: Access Integration Settings
- Log in to Attorney Share
- Navigate to Firm Settings → Integrations
- Look for Clio Manage in the list of available integrations
Step 2: Connect Your Clio Manage Account
- Click "Connect" next to Clio Manage
- You'll be redirected to Clio Manage's login page
- Log in with your Clio Manage credentials
- Click "Allow Access" to allow Attorney Share to access your Clio Manage data
- You'll be automatically redirected back to Attorney Share
Step 3: Verify the Connection
- Clio Manage should now show as "Connected" in your integrations list
- You can have multiple integrations active at once (e.g., both Clio Grow and Clio Manage)
Part 2: Using the Integration:
Creating a Matter in Clio Manage
- Create your matter in Clio Manage as you normally would
- Add contact information that matches a case in Attorney Share:
- Use the same email address (most important)
- Use the same phone number
- Use a similar name
- Set the matter status and stage (e.g., "Active" and "Discovery")
Triggering Updates:
Any of these actions in Clio Manage will send updates to Attorney Share:
- Changing the matter status
- Updating the matter stage
Viewing Updates in Attorney Share:
- Navigate to My Referrals → Track Signed Referrals in Attorney Share
- Click the Client Name then View Case Status History
- You'll see the latest status from Clio Manage
- We’ll let the referring attorney know you updated the case
Part 4: Managing the Integration:
Disconnecting Clio Manage:
If you need to remove the integration:
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Find Clio Manage in your connected integrations
- Click "Disconnect from Clio Manage”
Troubleshooting:
Case Not Matching?
Check that:
- The case in Attorney Share is marked as signed
- Contact information matches between systems (especially email)
- The matter has been updated in Clio Manage after the integration was connected
AI Confidence
The system requires at least 70% confidence to create a match:
- 90%+ confidence: Exact email match
- 80-85% confidence: Phone and name match
- 70-75% confidence: Name match only
- Below 70%: No match created (update skipped)
Support:
If you encounter issues:
- Check that both systems are connected
- Verify you can access Firm Settings in Attorney Share
- Contact support@attorneyshare.com with your organization ID and the matter ID from Clio Manage
